Colorado had been on the mind of tight end Mitchell Parsons (Parker, Colo./Chaparral) for some time now, and Parsons decided he no longer needed to wait.
Parsons verbally committed to the Buffaloes on Friday, tweeting, "committed to play football at CU. Excited to wear that Black and Gold #stoked #buffnation."
Parsons, 6-foot-5 and 220 pounds, also had an offer from Ole Miss and was being pursued by several schools, including Oklahoma and Oklahoma State. He was invited to OU's junior day but was unable to attend.
