Jake Campos talks Mizzou junior day

2013 offensive tackle Jake Campos (West Des Moines, Iowa/Valley) left Saturday’s Missouri junior day with an expanded opinion on the program. He also left with his first SEC scholarship offer.

Campos, a 6-foot-7, 245-pound left tackle, added Missouri to his growing list of offers, as the Tigers joined Iowa, Iowa State and Purdue. Missouri co-offensive line coach Josh Henson has been Campos’ primary recruiting contact, but Campos had a chance to meet all of the Missouri coaches during the visit, including head coach Gary Pinkel, who gave him the offer.

“It’s a huge offer, and I’m really proud of it,” Campos said. “It’s a great opportunity for me, but for now, I’m going to take my time with the process. I want to see as many schools as I can before I make a decision.”
