While Super Bowl 46 had its fans, there was a fair share of people who didn’t have an interest in it. Junior receiver Eldridge Massington (Mesquite, Texas/West Mesquite) said he chose to work out and focus on his game on Sunday.
“I’m not getting paid for [football],” Massington said. “Not yet.”
Massington said his recent trip to Oklahoma served as added motivation for his mission for future success. The 6-foot-3, 200-pound receiver attended the Sooners’ junior day and said he enjoyed his experience -- with a little help from Sooners freshman receiver Kameel Jackson.
