With all of the signings that took place at all of the universities in the country, Iowa was missing one national letter of intent in particular.
Four-star offensive lineman Alex Kozan (Highlands Ranch, Colo./Valor Christian) committed to Iowa late Sunday night, but he did not submit his LOI to the Hawkeyes on Wednesday. The 6-foot-4, 295-pound lineman used all of Wednesday to mull over his options and determine if Iowa truly was the right choice.
Valor Christian had its signing ceremony Wednesday, but Kozan was not a participant. In a text message, Kozan answered negatively when asked if he had signed, then answered affirmatively when asked if he was considering his options. Before committing to Iowa on Sunday, Kozan also considered Michigan and Auburn.
