Nearly two-thirds of the ESPN 300 prospects have announced their college futures. As of Tuesday afternoon, only 102 players remain uncommitted. Ten of those 102 represent the Midlands region -- and the region’s top three players all still are available. Two of the top three are five-star players.

Here is an in-depth look at the 10 remaining ESPN 300 prospects from the Midlands.

DE Myles Garrett

Arlington, Texas/Martin | 6-foot-5, 247 pounds

ESPN 300 Rank: 7

Midlands Rank: 1

Garrett, a five-star athlete and the nation’s No. 2 defensive end, has offers from coast to coast, but don’t expect him to make any quick decisions. Garrett is hoping to visit schools such as Alabama, Ohio State and Florida State, but many feel Texas A&M is a frontrunner. Texas and TCU also should be considered. Garrett may make a decision during the middle of the season, possibly after an official visit or two.
