Running back Troy McCormick (Katy, Texas/Mayde Creek) has not been to Utah before but he'll get his formal introduction this weekend.
The 5-foot-9, 175-pound three-star prospect, who committed to the Utes in November, saw photos of the campus and the Salt Lake City area from a friend, recent Utah commit Hipolito Corporan (Houston/Westside).
"I'm pretty excited," McCormick said. "I know it's snowing out there. [Hipolito] had pictures from his trip and it was snowing. So I'm excited."
