SAN ANTONIO -- Of all the athletes making their commitment announcements during Saturday’s U.S. Army All-American Bowl, ESPN 150 defensive end Al-Quadin Muhammad (Ramsey, N.J./Don Bosco Prep) might have been the one with the most questions about where he’d end up.
At the start of the second half of the game, Muhammad ended all questions and verbally committed to Miami. Ranked No. 95 in the ESPN 150, Muhammad chose the Hurricanes over Alabama and Notre Dame.
Muhammad is the No. 8 defensive end nationally and the No. 3 player in New Jersey among the 2013 recruiting class.

The Midlands Region consists of the states of Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota and
Texas and is where Big 12 programs make a living recruiting. However, with the deep talent pool in the Lone Star State, teams from all over the country flock to the Midlands to find players.
