One day after his best friend Nick Ramirez committed to Kansas State, Jamone Boyd figured the time was right to make his decision.
The ESPN 300 defensive end from Lee’s Summit (Mo.) West commited to Kansas State on Friday, choosing the Wildcats over Arkansas, Nebraska and Oklahoma State.
“It felt perfect for me, and I’m glad me and my best friend are going together,” Boyd said. “I called the coaches today. They were excited.”
