Tulsa University knows all about finding in-state talent at Tulsa Union High, and the Golden Hurricane went back to the Redskins for their latest commit.
Offensive guard Blake Mejia confirmed Friday he is the latest Union recruit to commit to Tulsa for its 2013 class. Mejia, who is 6-foot-3 and 280 pounds, also had an offer from Memphis and was receiving interest from some Big 12 schools.
Tulsa picks up Mejia a day after getting Union defensive end Dalton Rodriguez to flip to the Golden Hurricane from Oklahoma. Three-star tight end Chris Hall and wide receiver Kahlid Kornegay have both already pledged to Tulsa.
