If nothing else, Cydney Calvin (Frisco, Texas/Centennial) picked the right time to get noticed.
While his football team saw its 2012 season come to an end last Friday, Calvin might have watched his stock skyrocket during the postseason.
Once a wide receiver, Calvin was converted into a cornerback, and the 6-foot, 175-pound athlete made a name for himself with impressive coverage skills and playmaking ability. He was tested once deep last week against Tyler (Texas) John Tyler, and he won his matchup.
