Lagasse: 'I'm still committed to SMU'

This week, SMU commit Colin Lagasse (Austin, Texas/Lake Travis) was supposed to be answering questions about his four-time defending high school football state champions gunning for another title.
Instead, the high two-star athlete answered questions Wednesday about his future school heading to a new conference and the departure – and then non-departure – of the head coach who recruited him.
The Big East on Wednesday morning announced the addition of five schools, SMU included, beginning in 2013. Later in day, SMU coach June Jones was reported to have accepted the head coaching job at Arizona State. However, that report was squelched when a new report said Jones would not be the new coach after the deal fell through.
