The weekend was very kind to junior Foster Sawyer (Fort Worth, Texas/All Saints Episcopal).
Saturday afternoon, the 6-foot-5, 210-pound quarterback led All Saints to the Southwest Preparatory Conference small-school championship, defeating Houston St. John’s 60-50 and capping an 11-0 season for his team. Sawyer completed 25 of 30 passes for 454 yards and six touchdowns in the win.
Later that day, Sawyer took in the TCU-Kansas State game, and while the Horned Frogs didn’t win, Sawyer was impressed by what he saw. TCU has been one of the schools heavily recruiting him, and he said he thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere.
