Three-star offensive tackle Zach Hannon (Kansas City, Mo./Rockhurst) committed to Nebraska in August. He took his official visit to Lincoln, Neb., over the weekend and, with the help of a raucous crowd and a solid performance by his future college team, reconfirmed his loyalty to the Cornhuskers.
Hannon said he enjoyed the visit and cheered the Cornhuskers on in their 23-9 win against Michigan at Memorial Stadium, which kept their Big Ten Conference championship hopes alive. Hannon was one of several commits and targets in attendance.
“It was great just to see Nebraska come out with the victory,” Hannon said. “I enjoyed the camaraderie with the rest of the recruits. Plus, it was a great game.”
