Consider last Friday’s game the classic highlight tape for three-star kicker Ben Grogan (Arlington, Texas/Martin).
On a team that has been very good in scoring touchdowns all season, Grogan had the chance to show off his leg, connecting on six field goals in a win against Fort Worth (Texas) North Crowley. Of those six, three were from beyond 50 yards. A 56-yarder with 1:25 left in the second quarter -- one with no wind support -- was Grogan’s career best.
“I’d say that’s the best game I’ve ever had, definitely,” Grogan said.
