Wazzu commit Ayers gets Vols offer

Three-star athlete DeMarcus Ayers (Lancaster, Texas/Lancaster) is still committed to Washington State, but the will to resist outside interest seems to get tougher and tougher. On Saturday, Ayers picked up his first SEC offer.
The 5-foot-11, 165-pound senior, who plays quarterback for Lancaster but most likely will play either receiver or defensive back in college, received an offer from Tennessee and notched his 20th offer overall. Ayers said he is still solid with Washington State, but the offer is something to look into.
