Kansas commit Jordan Darling (Shawnee Mission, Kan./Shawnee Mission East) is enjoying an undefeated season, and the three-star quarterback is doing all he can to balance the pursuit of a state championship with the objective of becoming a college-ready quarterback for the Jayhawks.
In four games, Darling has thrown for 772 yards and five touchdowns. He and Shawnee Mission East are coming off a 3-0 win against reigning Kansas 6A state champion Olathe South in what was expected to be an offensive clash but finished as a battle of defenses.
