Calling offensive tackle Tristan Nickelson (League City, Texas/Clear Falls) a big man is an understatement.
At 6-foot-8 and 295 pounds, Nickelson towers over nearly everyone he lines up against as an offensive lineman. What college coaches seem to like is that, as big as he is, he definitely could get a lot bigger and not have it hurt him.
“I’ve been told I don’t look 295. I’m pretty slim for being as heavy as I am,” Nickelson said. “Coaches say it won’t hurt my hip flexibility or my leverage. I’ve been working with that for three years, and I’ve been able to get that down.”
