Wide receiver Jared Dangerfield (Fort Scott, Kan./Fort Scott Community College) called the junior college lifestyle “very humbling.”
After graduating from Royal Palm Beach (Fla.) High School, he enrolled at Towson University in Baltimore. He had NCAA Clearinghouse issues and wasn’t allowed to play at Towson, so he left and chose to take the junior college route.
Dangerfield is now looking to have a productive 2012 season at Fort Scott and also is looking to finalize FBS college plans soon. The 6-foot-3, 200-pound receiver is expecting to be a major impact player in the Jayhawk Conference for the upcoming season with Fort Scott.
