Three-star offensive lineman Sergio Phillips (DeSoto, Texas/DeSoto) has four FBS offers. If all goes well by next Wednesday, he hopes to have a fifth by a BCS power.
Phillips will be in Baton Rouge for LSU’s four-day camp, which runs Sunday through Wednesday. The 6-foot-3, 289-pound lineman – projected to play either guard or center in college – has been in contact with his recruiting contact, LSU tight ends coach Steve Ensminger, and he said an offer is possible with a strong showing at the camp.
