Cedric Dale (Fort Worth, Texas/Keller Timber Creek) admitted to being frustrated. The 2014 cornerback believed he had been putting in overtime with his workouts, but his efforts were not rewarded with a scholarship offer.
On Sunday, Dale scored his first offer and ended months of frustration. The 5-foot-9, 178-pound athlete was offered by Texas Tech after participating in a Red Raiders satellite camp at Rockwall (Texas) High School.
“I’ve worked so hard on my game, so this feels good,” Dale said. “I was so frustrated that it came to a point where I’d come home and be so mad. I felt by myself, like no one was watching me.
