If there’s one thing about The Opening, it makes a habit of rewarding the hard-working athlete – regardless of how many offers he may or may not have.
Rising athlete Colin Spencer (Dallas/Woodrow Wilson), who has made a name for himself by way of the Nike SPARQ combine and Nike Football Training Camp, has accepted an invitation to participate in The Opening, a four-day training and competition event July 5-8 at the Nike headquarters in Beaverton, Ore. The 5-foot-10, 180-pound, two-way starter received the news late Wednesday, becoming the event’s 77th invitee of 2012.
