2014 cornerback Chris Hardeman (Houston/Alief Taylor) picked up his first Big Ten offer and fifth overall on Friday, as Purdue extended a scholarship offer.
Hardeman’s week has included three offers in the last 48 hours. He picked up offers from Mississippi State and Utah on Wednesday. On Friday, the 5-foot-9, 180-pound cornerback gained the Purdue offer from receivers coach Patrick Higgins.
“It feels great,” Hardeman said of his latest offer. “I know that they are in the Big Ten, and they have great academics.”
Hardeman also has offers from Texas A&M and SMU, and he’s received interest from Oregon, Miami (FL), Texas, LSU and several other schools.
