Ever since his performance at the Dallas Nike Football Training Camp at the end of March, offensive lineman Brad North (Allen, Texas) and watched his recruiting stock rise significantly.
Prior to the NFTC, North had zero offers. Three weeks later, he has three offers and several schools showing high interest. The 6-foot-2, 280-pound offensive lineman picked up an offer from Arkansas State – his third offer overall – on Thursday, and over the weekend, he made the trip to Jonesboro, Ark., to take in football and campus living, along with Allen teammates Michael Jacob and Byron Bonds.
“It went really well. Everyone has really treated me great, and the coaches seem to know what they’re doing here,” North said. “I am very impressed by what they have accomplished here at Arkansas State. My teammates and I really enjoyed this opportunity, and overall, I’d have to say we had a great time.”
