According to his Twitter account, ESPNU 150 Watch List running back Jamel James (Katy, Texas/Cinco Ranch), an Arkansas commit, was finishing a Tuesday night fishing excursion when he got the news about the firing of coach Bobby Petrino.
“Jus got done fishing didn't catch a single fish smh lol,” the tweet read. “But what I'm hearing can't be true about coach bobby p?”
James went on to express his disappointment via Twitter in Arkansas’ decision to let Petrino go. The big question for the 5-foot-11, 215-pound back is whether or not he will stay committed to the Razorbacks – particularly after athlete Austin Bennett (Manvel, Texas) decommitted from Arkansas hours after the decision was public. James and Bennett were Arkansas’ only 2013 commits.
