Charlie Reid (Fort Worth, Texas/All Saints Episcopal) picked up his seventh offer earlier this week, as Iowa State entered the mix for the services of the pass-catching tight end.
Recruited by Iowa State receivers coach Luke Wells, Reid added the Cyclones to a list that already included TCU, UCLA, Arizona, Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Connecticut. TCU was his first offer, which he received roughly three weeks ago.
“A lot of people may see it as whatever, but to me, every offer feels like the TCU offer,” Reid said. “It’s truly surreal every time one comes around. Every offer I get really is a blessing. It’s just wonderful.”
