At 6-foot-4 and 240 pounds, Jackson Gilley (Liberty, Mo./Liberty) is a prospect not only on the football field, but also in the wrestling circle. The spring and summer will be huge for a player still looking for his first offer – and one who definitely is on the verge of obtaining it.
Gilley, a heavyweight as a wrestler, plays defensive end for Liberty’s football but also has lined up as an inside linebacker. He has been a defensive starter since his sophomore season.
Gilley is garnering attention as a defensive end from Kansas, Kansas State, Missouri, Nebraska and Iowa State. Gilley has visited Kansas, Kansas State, Nebraska and Hawaii, and next Saturday, he will visit Iowa State.
