Running back Johnny Jefferson (Killeen, Texas/Shoemaker) on Friday said he will attend the Oklahoma State junior day on Saturday after originally choosing to attend the Texas A&M junior day.
Jefferson said Oklahoma State, Texas A&M and UCLA are currently the top three schools on his recruiting list. The switch in junior day appearances, however, doesn’t mean that Oklahoma State is the frontrunner over the other three.
“OSU is only having this one,” Jefferson said of the junior day. “A&M will have another one.”
Jefferson said A&M is expected to have another junior day in April, and he will make the trip to College Station, Texas, then. A 5-foot-11, 195-pound running back with 4.36 speed, Jefferson recently picked up offers from UCLA and Notre Dame, and he has received interest from Oklahoma State, Texas A&M, TCU, Houston and Duke.
