The first junior day for quarterback Jordan Darling (Waco, Texas/Midway) turned out to be a success.
Darling made the trip to Lawrence, Kan., for Kansas' junior day Saturday, and while he didn’t leave with a scholarship offer, he did leave with good memories.
“It was very positive. I had a great time,” said Darling, a 6-foot-5, 227-pound pro-style quarterback. “Coach [Charlie] Weis was very clear about the expectations he has from his players. He knows what he wants.”
