K-State taps juco pipeline again

Corsicana (Texas) Navarro J.C. receiver Marquez Clark admitted even as earlier this affernroon that he was torn between Kansas State and Pittsburgh. But in the end, the 6-foot, 180-pounder decided Manhattan, Kan., was the place for him.

"I've signed with Kansas State," Clark, who visited K-State on Dec. 16 and Pittsburgh on Dec. 9, said. "K-State was always my favorite, my top school."

Clark was recruited by Wildcat receiver coach Michael Smith. He is originally from Texarkana, Texas. He set the national junior-college record for single-season receptions with 98 this season and also had 1,639 yards.
