Three-star quarterback Brandon Taylor (Mustang, Okla.) was enjoying a solid season until a concussion sidelined him for the rest of the season. He was among the leaders in Oklahoma in passing yards at the beginning of the season, but he only played half of the year because of concussions and concussion-like symptoms.
Taylor is now healthy, but he also is looking for a scholarship offer. At 6-foot-3 and 230 pounds, Taylor has the size of an FBS quarterback. He threw for 1,805 yards and nine touchdowns in five games and parts of two others.
“I think that hurt me a lot,” Taylor said. “When I went out with a concussion, I didn’t play much at all after that. Even with the games I played, at the time, I was leading the state in passing by about 300 yards. We were scoring a lot of points.
