Notre Dame is no longer in the running to land ESPN 150 Tashawn Bower.
The four-star defensive end announced that development on his Facebook account on Friday afternoon. He then confirmed the decision to ESPN moments later.
"Feel they are not fully invested in me," Bower stated via text message.
Bower said he would take an official visit to another school in place of Notre Dame but wasn't sure where. Bower has an official visit scheduled to Florida on Jan. 18. He is also planning to take official visits to LSU and Rutgers.
Bower committed to Auburn in June but decided to re-evaluate his options after Gene Chizik was fired following the 2012 regular season. Bower is still considering Auburn. He took his official visit there in the fall.
