Zayd Issah (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin) is a Nittany Lion ... again.
The three-star athlete, who decommitted after the sanctions, recommitted to Penn State during his official visit over the weekend. He's now the third linebacker of the 2013 class and 15th commit.
When asked why he decided to choose PSU over Oregon and Arizona State, he didn't hesitate: "I can tell you with two words," he said. "Linebacker U."
Issah initially decommitted because he wanted to see how the Nittany Lions rebounded from the sanctions, whether they'd remain competitive. When PSU managed an 8-4 record and Bill O'Brien was nominated for virtually every Coach of the Year honor, Issah said he knew the university would be just fine.
He was one of three recruits to commit over the weekend and said he's now trying to get one of his best friends, Drew Scales, to commit to the school as a preferred walk-on.
