Michigan State is hoping to pull another four-star prospect out of Western Pennsylvania, and two Spartans coaches talked with ESPN 300 athlete Tyler Boyd on Wednesday -- one in person and one over the phone.
Assistant coach Mark Staten came by Clairton (Pa.) High School to talk with Boyd. Following that conversation, Boyd spoke with Spartans coach Mark Dantonio.
The Spartans coach is hoping to get Boyd up to East Lansing for an official visit.
