Despite two offers, Thadd Smith (Springfield, Pa./Cardinal O’Hara) is hardly a household recruiting name yet -- except for in a few Mountaineers fans’ homes.
The 2014 athlete had Mountaineers fans call his name while on his visit to West Virginia on Saturday.
“The fans are die-hard fans. I didn’t know some of the fans knew me,” Smith said. “They were telling me to come to West Virginia. It was a real good experience.”
