Reggie Green (Cranford, N.J./Cranford) announced his commitment to the Panthers Tuesday night on Twitter, "Officially committed to the University of Pittsburgh hail to Pitt!!!"
Green, high school quarterback, is expected to move to another offensive skill position in college. He chose the Panthers over scholarship offers from Boston College, Massachusetts, Michigan State, North Carolina State, Rutgers and Temple.
The 6-foot-2, 200-pound talent spoke with the Newark Star-Ledger about his decision, "It felt right to do it [yesterday]. When you feel right about something, don't wait. Go for it... The area is beautiful. The school, the campus, the city. The coaching staff was really great. The players I talked to were really nice, good people. It just felt like a place I felt at home at."
