6-foot-5, 250-pound defensive end Jack English (Richmond, Va./St. Christopher's) recently picked up a scholarship offer from Virginia and quickly accepted, multiple sources report.
Virginia Tech also extended a scholarship offer to English. Boston College, Duke, North Carolina and Stanford were among the other programs showing interest.
English registered 55 tackles, 21 tackles for loss and seven sacks as a junior.
The Cavaliers now have 10 recruits on board for 2012.
