The linebacker from Knoxville (Tenn.) West has three scholarship offers -- Tennessee-Chattanooga, Middle Tennessee State and Furman. The nearby Vols recently showed interest when offensive coordinator Jim Chaney stopped by West High School during the spring evaluation period.
“Tennessee is the underdog in recruiting,” the 6-foot-3, 195-pound prospect said. “I feel like UT, if they would do some inside recruiting [in Tennessee], they could be what they were before all the drama with other coaches [leaving]. I feel like if we did more in-state recruiting, we'd be fine because there's a lot of love with UT. We just haven't felt it yet.”
