Jake Plonski (Erie, Pa./Cathedral Prep) is still searching for offer No. 1, but he is seeing a host of interest from schools in the East.
Maryland, Michigan State, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Syracuse and West Virginia have all kept in touch with the 6-foot-2, 222-pound inside linebacker.
This weekend, Plonski will visit the Nittany Lions for their first spring game under new coach Bill O’Brien.
