Erial (N.J.) Timber Creek has been a fertile program for college football recruits in recent years, producing wide receiver Damiere Byrd (South Carolina) and linebacker Quinton Alston (Iowa) last year. Senior Quanzell Lambert, a four-star linebacker, and juniors Dajuan Drennon and Greg Webb are among the players on this year's team who have drawn heavy Division I interest.
Now recruiters seem to be turning their attention to Timber Creek quarterback/outside linebacker Myles Nash as well. Nash, a 6-foot-5, 200-pound junior, has no offers, but said there's interest from Rutgers, South Carolina, Connecticut, Georgia Tech and Vanderbilt.
“Rutgers and a lot of other schools like me as an outside linebacker or a standup defensive end rushing off the edge,” Nash said. “A lot of schools have told me to bulk up, because at 6-5 things get stretched out.
