Although Tajae Sharpe (Piscataway, N.J./Piscataway) said he won't turn his attention to the recruiting process until after his senior season ends, it appears Pittsburgh may have a slight edge among the nine schools that have extended scholarship offers.
Pittsburgh gave Sharpe his first offer, and it's the only school he's been to at this point. Sharpe, a 6-foot-3, 180-pound defensive back/wide receiver, also said he plans to take an official visit to Pittsburgh after the season.
“I haven't been to a game there, but I took an unofficial visit to Pittsburgh and I liked it a lot,” Sharpe said. “I haven't taken any official visits yet, but I'll be going to Towson, Pittsburgh and Kent State. I've had a lot of contact with the coaches at those schools. The other ones are up in the air at this point.”
