Jimbo Fisher often asks the quarterbacks he has offered to throw at Florida State’s camp before allowing one to commit. That was not the case with the Seminoles’ newest 2014 pledge.
Pittsburgh Central Catholic quarterback J.J. Cosentino committed to Florida State on Monday, he told ESPN.com.
“He liked the coaching staff. He felt they made the point he was the guy they wanted,” Central Catholic coach Terry Totten said. “He’s been talking it over a lot with his family. It wasn’t anything rash. I think he felt that was his best fit.”
