Clairton (Pa.) and Tyler Boyd are in the middle of a historic playoff run, but the ESPN 300 athlete still has his eye toward his future.
Boyd, who became Western Pennsylvania's career touchdown leader last week, has set his second official visit of the recruiting process.
Arizona will host Boyd for an official visit the weekend of Dec. 14.
Boyd's friend Thomas Woodson (Monroeville, Pa./Gateway), another Western Pennsylvania product, is a quarterback committed to Arizona.
Clairton set a Pennsylvania record with its 60th consecutive win Nov. 23 to claim a WPIAL title. The Bears won their 61st straight last weekend and are now in the PIAA semifinals. The final would be Dec. 14, so Boyd would likely leave Dec. 15 for Tucson.
Boyd's first official visit went to Pitt. Michigan State, another team that could land an official visit, was in to see Boyd on Thursday.
Penn State, Rutgers and West Virginia are a few other programs Boyd is considering.
