Pitt makes giant leap with Tyler Boyd

A few months ago, Pittsburgh’s chances of landing Tyler Boyd (Clairton, Pa./Clairton) were close to nonexistent. Following an official visit to the nearby program this weekend, the Panthers are right around the top.
The ESPN 300 athlete visited the same weekend as teammate Titus Howard and ESPN 150 prospects Robert Foster and Dorian Johnson, and the four spent much of the weekend with Pitt players Rushel Shell, Trenton Coles, Adam Bisnowaty and Cameron Saddler, who was Boyd’s host. They all went to the Pitt basketball game Saturday, and the experience made a big impression on Boyd.
