Clairton (Pa.) athlete Tyler Boyd has changed his official visit plans for the coming weekend.
The ESPN 300 member will officially visit Pittsburgh this weekend. He was planning to visit Wisconsin.
"Wisconsin didn't hit me back with any info," Boyd said.
Boyd, No. 161 in the ESPN 300, was supposed to hear from Badgers assistant Charlie Partridge on Monday to finalize the visit plans, but Boyd never heard from Wisconsin's camp. So, he decided to stay local and visit Pitt following his Friday playoff game.
The visit from Boyd comes as more good news for the Panthers, who will have a big recruiting weekend on their hands during the bye week. ESPN 150 prospects Robert Foster and Dorian Johnson will also be officially visiting this weekend.
With all three on campus, the Panthers will have Pennsylvania's No. 1, No. 2 and No. 7 prospects officially visiting this weekend.
Arizona, Michigan State and West Virginia are also among Boyd's top group.
