A first-team All-Catholic selection in southeast Pennsylvania, 2014 athlete Dashawn Darden (Springfield, Pa./Cardinal O’Hara), is now on to grabbing the attention of college coaches.
Several programs have already taken notice of the 5-foot-10, 175-pound Darden, who plays quarterback for O’Hara. He threw for 1,607 yards and 20 touchdowns as a junior and rushed for three more.
Darden reports interest from Boston College, Memphis, NC State, Ohio, Rutgers, Syracuse and West Virginia. He will also make a visit to Temple this coming weekend with teammate Thadd Smith, who has an offer from Rutgers and Temple.
