With his season just recently coming to an end, 2014 athlete Thadd Smith (Springfield, Pa./Cardinal O’Hara) will be a little busier with the recruiting process. He already has two offers.
Rutgers and Temple have extended offers to the 5-foot-8, 163-pound Smith, and the Owls will host him for a visit on Saturday.
“It’s close to home, really it’s right there,” Smith said. “They keep in contact, coach [Ryan] Day and I got a good relationship. And they’re doing OK this season. I think in a few more years they’ll be one of the top teams probably.”
