Upstate New York has only a handful of BCS prospects each recruiting cycle, but one name to watch down the line in the area is 2015 receiver Davonte Hamilton from Poughkeepsie (N.Y.).
Poughkeepsie coach Ken Barger has had prospects move onto BCS programs in the past, but he has never coached a player like Hamilton.
"Never before had a kid jump off the radar as a sophomore," Barger said. "Then when you add in the measurables (6-foot-4, 215 pounds) and his nickname is Megatron because he looks like Calvin Johnson running around, this could be our first national recruit."
