Connecticut stopped by Philadelphia Imhotep Charter on Monday to check in on linebacker Brandon Chatmon, and the Huskies convinced the three-star prospect to swing by Storrs soon.
The 5-foot-11, 213-pound inside linebacker will unofficially visit UConn for its game against Pittsburgh Nov. 9, Chatmon said.
Chatmon recently made an unofficial visit to Towson and raved about the visit.
"It was awesome," he said. "The atmosphere was crazy."
Old Dominion and Pitt are also showing interest in Chatmon, who is No. 38 overall in Pennsylvania and No. 59 among inside linebackers nationally.
Chatmon previously attend Cardinal O'Hara in Springfield, Pa., before transferring to Imhotep Charter for his senior season. He has improved his grades over the last few semesters, he said, and that has brought back much of the interest from schools that were interested in him following his junior season.
