Wide receiver Lamont Baldwin's bumpy football path will take him to Hampton.
"I'm officially COMMITTED TO HAMPTON UNIVERSITY FOOTBALL," the receiver from Washington (D.C.) Archbishop Carroll posted on his Facebook page on Sunday.
Baldwin also had a scholarship offer from Hawaii and interest from several other schools.
Baldwin suffered a serious head injury during a passing camp in 2011 and was forced to miss the following season. He wasn't cleared to play earlier this season and focused on track. He told ESPN he's determined to make a return to the football field.
