Derwin Gray said he's still committed to Maryland despite Yannick Ngakoue's decommitment.
"Yup 100 percent solid," Gray stated via text message.
Gray, a four-star offensive tackle from Washington (D.C.) Friendship, and Ngakoue, a three-star linebacker from Friendship, had repeatedly said they would attend the same college. That could still be the case but seems less likely after Ngakoue opened up his recruitment on Sunday. He is now considering West Virginia, Miami, Maryland, Tennessee and South Carolina.
Gray picked Maryland over dozens of scholarship offers. He and Ngakoue committed to Maryland together in June.
